Penn State University in Pennsylvania is offering a full tuition scholarship to a law graduate from Passau University for a two-semester LL.M. program during the 2015/2016 academic year (starting August 4, 2015). The applicant should have at least the first state law exam. Nominations will be made via the Chair of Common Law in Passau (please contact Prof. Dr. Jörg Fedtke at joerg.fedtke@uni-passau.de). Applicants should submit their applications to Professor Fedtke by March 31, 2015.
Penn State allows LLM students to select their own course of study. Specializations exist, inter alia, in the areas of business law, arbitration, and energy/environmental law. Candidates will have to provide Penn State with a completed application form, proof of English proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS), law degree transcripts, a personal statement, and their resume (CV).
Questions about the LLM at Penn State, the application procedure, or the scholarship can be directed to Mr. Burak Can, Director, Graduate and International Programs (ebc10@psu.edu) or Ms. Brenda Johnson, LLM Admissions Coordinator (blj10@psu.edu).
Penn State is a partner of the DAAD. Applicants may wish to explore further funding opportunities through that organization.
